Access to HE

Providers who have experience, resources and links to Higher Education run Access to HE Diploma courses.  Information for learners can be found on the 'Access to HE Information for Learners' page of our website and a full list of Providers and the Diplomas they offer is available in the Access to HE Diploma Directory.

The Access to HE Diploma is regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and more information on QAA Access to HE can be found here.

Diploma courses are normally run over one year but some centres will offer them over two years.  Learner registration lasts for two years.  The Diploma is designed around a Regional Programme, which contains core subjects and designated pathways of subject specific units.  The Diploma award is governed by specific rules of combination.  All Diplomas are subject to stringent quality assurance requirements and providers must ensure that these are met for the award of credit to be valid.  We will ensure that all Diploma courses are subject to external moderation from our well-qualified moderators.
